It's been another incredible week here in Jericho, filled with moments that remind us just how special our community is. We are endlessly grateful to our families, whose unwavering support and spirit continue to be a guiding light for our schools.

Thank you for being the heart of Jericho and for making our schools feel like home. Here's to another wonderful week together, Jayhawks!

A summer of reading deserves a celebration! This week, Ms. Conklin, recognized our middle school students who participated in the Literacy Leaders Summer Reading Program! Students spent their summer exploring new stories, discovering different perspectives and strengthening their love of reading by completing four books of their choice and sharing thoughtful reviews.

It was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, imagination and the joy of getting lost in a good book. Congratulations to all of our Literacy Leaders!

Yesterday, Jericho families received a notification regarding the district's upcoming Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) screening initiative, designed to help us better understand and support the well-being of our students.

We encourage families to review the communication for additional details.

If you have questions, would like more information or wish to opt your child out of the screening, please contact your child's building principal, who can assist you with the process.

The Joint PTA Council & Wellness Coalition Health Fair will take place at 7:00 PM in the Middle School Library on October 21. All members of the Jericho School District community are invited to attend!

We invite the public to review the draft District Code of Character, Conduct and Support, which will be reviewed at the October 29th Board of Education meeting.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your continued input, support, and commitment to the Jericho School District community.
