Welcome to SEPTA

Jericho SEPTA (Special Education Parent Teacher Association) is a district-wide PTA supporting students in grades K–12. Every child is unique and follows their own educational journey, and we believe all students deserve the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

SEPTA works closely with the school district to help foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students. We bring together parents, educators, administrators, and community members to advocate for equitable opportunities, celebrate each child’s strengths, and build a connected school community.

Through membership dues, donations, and fundraising efforts, SEPTA provides educational workshops, guest speakers, family events, community initiatives, scholarships for deserving high school seniors, and teacher grants that fund innovative programs and equipment benefiting both special education and general education students.

Our volunteers work throughout the year to organize meaningful programs, provide resources, encourage collaboration, and create welcoming spaces where families can connect, find support, and share experiences. By partnering with the school district and community, we empower families and help students reach their full potential.
