2024 International Night

On March 12, 2024, students at Jericho High School celebrated International Night. The evening featured an opening show: Chinese Honor Society organized a dance and a martial arts performance; French Honor Society coordinated a skit; both Italian Honor Society and Latin Honor Society performed a song; Spanish Honor Society and Jericho United ended off the show with dances. 

The evening continued with local club area activities.  Chinese Honor Society offered calligraphy, painting, mask decoration, paper-cutting, and shuttlecock and Diabolo games.  French Honor Society offered an authentic French meal, trivia contest, selfies, and a chance to decorate your own chef's hat.  Italian Honor Society held a mini-museum and a Tombola game.  Latin Honor Society sponsored "The Pilars of Plato" (a strategy game), and Roman food tasting.  Spanish Honor Society had karaoke, board games, and crafts.  Finally, Jericho United had various activities, including an oragami workshop, karaoke, Arabic calligraphy, Henna, Anime drawing tools, and food tasting from Nigeria, India, Brazil, the Caribbean, and more!  We thank the the officers and the faculty advisors of each club (Ms. Contreras; Ms. Egan; Ms. Gropineanu; Ms. Han; Ms. Li; Ms. Kennedy; Ms. Suriani; Ms. Vardhan) for coordinating and organizing this year’s program.
