Jericho’s Middle School/High School auditorium opened with great fanfare with a district-wide concert on March 3.
The auditorium features over 800 seats, a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system housed in a sound booth, engineer-designed acoustical panels to enhance the sound, new audiovisual system, air conditioning, wifi, and new state curtains and rigging.
The concert featured musical acts from all five schools, as well as the Middle School drama and High School musical and a performance by Choreo dancers. The evening also featured a sound and lighting demonstration to showcase what the capabilities of the renovated space are. Video and photos from the grand opening are available on our website www.jerichoschools.org under “announcements.”
The auditorium is now open and the district looks forward to hosting many more events in this great space.
