Jericho Middle School
Social emotional learning is an important part of the Jericho Middle School philosophy. Our school theme is Building Community Through Understanding, Tolerance, Sensitivity, and Acceptance. Students have been involved with various lessons on character education. As a culmination to these activities, Mrs. Wren arranged for Ms. Ruby Bridges to come and speak with the Jericho Middle School students on May 26th and May 27th, about her experience as the first African American child to attend a New Orleans elementary school after court-ordered desegregation in 1960.
