1. I will not give out any personal or identifying information about my family, or myself, such as our name, address, phone number or pictures.
2. I will give out my Internet screen name only to people I know and trust.
3. I will not give out any information about my friends and classmates.
4. I will not give out my Internet password to anyone (even my best friends) other than my parents.
5. I will log-off and tell my parents right away if I come across any information that makes me feel uncomfortable, upsets me, or offends me.
6. I will never agree to get together with someone I "meet" online.
7. I will not open or accept e-mails, files, links, or other things from people I do not know.
8. I will not respond to an instant message unless I know who I am "chatting" with.
9. I will follow the rules that my parents and I set up for going online.
10. I will practice good manners and be polite. I will not say mean things to anyone online. If people are saying mean things, I will go to another site, and tell a trusted adult.
