| This year the George A. Jackson PTA hosted its 2008 carnival with a tropical theme. The Carnival Chairpersons were Amy Diaz, Kim Stoffers and Stephanie Portelli. They worked hard coordinating this fun filled event. All the committees, and the many parents and teenage volunteers from the Jericho H. S. and Middle School who worked so hard behind the scene, as well as on the day of the event to ensure that all the students, teachers, families and many visitors were treated to a most enjoyable day. With all the games, face painting, the many tables of raffles and most wonderful food you were hard pressed to find an unhappy visitor as there was something to everyone to do or win. Overheard were several students wishing that "we could do it all again." The Jackson PTA wishes to thank everyone who worked so diligently, and to the community who once supported this years' carnival to ensure that once again we put on a carnival that we can all be proud of.
