To All District 1N Members:

Good Afternoon. My name is Jeffrey and I am the Vice President of the "NEW" Jericho Chapter of FBLA. We at Jericho High School feel helpless as I think many schools do about the recent tragedy that has hit too close to home. As a chapter we have decided that we would like to help out in anyway we could. We have decided to sponsor a Bowl-A-Thon and invite all chapters of FBLA which would like to attend.

The Basis of the Event is:

• There will be up to 36 teams of 4 players competing in two games
• Pizza and soda will be served to all participants
• The winning team will win a $150 cash prize. Second and Third place teams will all receive trophies.
  All participants will receive Certificates.

Cost Break Down:

• A team will be charged $70 for two games and refreshments.
• If a person signs up as an individual they will be charged $20 and will be placed on a team.
• The cost to us is $2.50 per person, per game, plus approximately $4 per person for refreshments. Therefore it costs us approximately $9 per person.

Prospective Profit:

• If we sell out all 144 spots and 50% sign up as a team and 50% sign up as an individual that is $1404.
• Other expenses are the cash prizes and awards winch will cost approximately $225.
• We also plan to get sponsors and possibly hold a raffle; plus money made from selling American Flag lapel pins and a money collection bucket.
  We would be looking to make approximately $1500 In order for this to be a successful event we need YOUR help. We have a relatively small school and not nearly enough members to fill all the spots.
