Successful completion of a credit in the following course or courses will fulfill the New York State graduation requirement in Art/Music:
Concert Band (9); Symphonic Band (10-12); String Orchestra (9-12); Chorus (9-12); Jazz Ensemble (9-12)*; Music Theory 1 (9-12); Music In Our Lives (9-12)
*audition required for select ensembles
After graduation requirements have been satisfied, students may continue to take courses as electives and as a part of a three or five year sequence.
Three Year Sequence:
Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble - 2 credits
Music Theory 1 or 2 - 1 credit
 
Five Year Sequence:**
