Who Are Your Ancestors?

A 5th Grade Family Tree Project

GENEALOGY

You are going to have the exciting experience of finding out about who you are by interviewing your relatives and investigating your family history. Your final product will be a binder filled with information about your ancestors which you will then be able to share with your children and grandchildren someday. Many families do not have their stories documented anywhere, so this project is a great opportunity for you to contribute to the ongoing legacy of your family.

This project is due on Friday, February 8, 2008

Introduction

What is genealogy? Why should I study it? Genealogy is the science of studying about our ancestors, also called "family history".
