About Our Organization
Jericho SEPTA (Special Education Parent Teacher Association) is beginning its 14th year of bringing together people interested in the quality of education for children, with special needs, from birth to age 21. SEPTA is a district-wide organization comprised of parents, teachers and administrators from the high school, middle school and elementary schools, which supports and promotes a greater awareness of special education.
Jericho SEPTA is an organization that does not raise funds. The only source of income is that of its annual dues from membership. With the continued growth in membership we have been able to provide the community with quality speakers, donations to each of the libraries in the district, monthly support groups for parents, as well as to continue to operate as a chartered unit of the Jericho Joint PTSA Council. Our organization works to benefit all Jericho children.
